Weeknight Dog Care
You enjoy your evening. We’ll help them wind down for theirs.

Dinner with friends. Theatre tickets. An event. A date night. Working late. Or simply an evening where your dog can’t come along.
Whatever your plans, you shouldn’t have to spend the night checking the time and wondering whether your dog is sitting at home waiting for you.
Weeknight Dog Care keeps their evening familiar while you get to enjoy yours.
Your dog stays in their own home with one-to-one companionship, following the little evening rituals they already know.
Dinner at the usual time. Their evening walk. Medication if needed. A favourite game. A cuddle on the sofa. Or, for the dog who values personal space above all else, simply having someone nearby while they snooze.
From evening energy to bedtime mode
Evenings have a different rhythm to the middle of the day.
For many dogs, it’s the time when the household starts slowing down.
Our aim is to work with that rhythm.
Depending on your dog and the length of the booking, their evening might include:
-
Dinner and fresh water
-
Medication where agreed
-
Toilet breaks
-
An individual on-lead evening walk
-
Play or enrichment
-
Calm companionship
-
Cuddles if your dog actively seeks them
(space and downtime if they don’t) -
Helping them settle and wind down
-
Their usual bedtime routine where the booking runs late enough
-
Regular pupdates for you
We’re not there to turn 8pm into a canine activity camp.
If your dog normally likes to curl up under a blanket after dinner and supervise the room through one half-open eye, that is a perfectly respectable way to spend an evening.
Keeping home feeling like home
Rather than changing everything because you are out, we try to keep the familiar things familiar.
The same dinner. The same walking routine. The same sofa. The same cues that tell your dog the day is coming to an end.
For dogs who find change difficult, or who are nervous, reactive or particularly attached to their routine, that familiarity can be especially valuable.
And while all of this is happening…
You can enjoy your evening.
You’ll receive pupdates so you know your dog has eaten, walked, settled or has currently taken possession of your side of the sofa.
But the idea is that you don’t need to spend your evening worrying about theirs.
Go and enjoy your evening.
