Weekends are for plans.
 

Lunches that turn into dinners. Weddings. Birthdays. Family get-togethers. Shopping days. Sporting events. Days out. Celebrations. Or sometimes doing absolutely nothing useful for several glorious hours.
 

Your dog might not be invited.
 

That doesn’t mean their weekend has to be boring.
 

Weekend Dog Care gives your dog one-to-one care in their own home while you go and enjoy yours.
 

You make your plans. We’ll make theirs.
 

Their weekend can look however they like

Some dogs would vote enthusiastically for an adventure.
 

A good on-lead walk. Sniffing somewhere interesting. Enrichment. Games. Exploring. A little more time outdoors.
 

Others would like everyone to stop overcomplicating matters and simply provide snacks, companionship and unrestricted access to the sofa.
 

Both are valid weekend agendas.
 

Depending on your dog and the booking, their care might include:

• One-to-one companionship

• Feeding and fresh water

• Medication where agreed

• Toilet breaks

• Individual on-lead walks

• Play and enrichment

• Rest and downtime

• A little adventure or change of scenery where appropriate

• Plenty of sniffing

• Their normal weekend routine

• Regular pupdates while you’re out
   

The important thing is that the day is built around your dog, not around our idea of what a dog should enjoy.
 

Going somewhere special?

Weekend care can work particularly well for weddings, celebrations, family commitments, long lunches, days out and those occasions where you genuinely have no idea what time you’ll be home when you leave the house.
 

Your dog remains somewhere familiar, with their normal belongings, routine and comforts around them.
 

And you can stay for dessert without mentally calculating how quickly you can get back across London.
 

Safe walks, always

Any walk is adapted to your dog’s usual routine, age, mobility, behaviour, triggers, preferences, the weather and what is happening around them that day.
 

Every dog cared for through Aunty Shan’s Dog Care is walked on lead at all times.
 

Staying out a little longer?

Weekend Dog Care is designed for part-day or evening care.
 

If you’re actually escaping London, staying somewhere overnight or need a full 24-hour period of care, our Overnight Dog Care service will usually be the better fit.
